Ben Deibert is a wine educator for Cork Wise and a member of the James Beard-nominated Et Al. After previous careers in event production and mountain guiding, Ben found an interest in wine and was hired as a bar back at Vintage Wine Bar, working his way up to running the wine program alongside Dalton Smith. Growing up in a family of educators, he knows the power education can have on both himself and those around him. Through his studies, Ben currently holds 12 wine, spirit and beer certifications through the Society of Wine Educators, Court of Master Sommeliers, WSET and Cicerone Certification Program. He is currently a candidate for the French Wine Scholar and will be pursuing a Masters Level Certification in Champagne through the Wine Scholars Guild.

While at Vintage, Ben developed in-house training for both wine and spirits and trained staff through WSET certifications of their own. His goal is to help people become confident in wine, whether picking a bottle for dinner or becoming a career professional. He can often be found in the Trader Joe’s wine section finding hidden gems or raving about the importance of Special Club Champagne
